About Me

I have worked as a therapist for over 17 years and consider this role as one of my greatest passions. I specialize in providing support to individuals struggling with trauma, substance use, depression, anxiety and perfectionism. Through my client-centered and collaborative approach I offer support, expertise, and a compassionate presence, while empowering you to discover your own insights, strengths and solutions. My clients have expressed appreciations of this warm and empathic nature and report feeling genuinely understood during their sessions. If your goal includes creating positive and lasting changes in your life, you’ve come to the right place.

My experience has taken me to a variety of settings, including outpatient counseling, inpatient psychiatric hospitals, and on military bases. I have worked extensively with the military/veteran community and first responders and understand the unique stressors and challenges they encounter. Additionally I have worked in a residential substance abuse treatment center which has given me experience and understanding of the complexities of substance use disorders and their correlation with trauma.

When I’m not seeing clients, I enjoy running, connecting with friends, and spending time with my family and our two dogs. (As an animal lover your pets are always welcome to make an appearance in a telehealth session!)
